This reflection revolves around onomastics and the proper name shared by two narrative instances. Indeed, in The Prayer of Fear, two individuals who share the first name of Hanan inhabit the narration to explore the Algerian space in a context of fratricidal war. In addition, this research work aims to exploit the problem of otherness and the (re)knowledge of the Self through the Other in a common onomastic perspective. The challenge is to see in a certain narrative and identity confusion of the heroines a continuity of the individual history of each of them referring to the collective history of the Algerian people.

This research focuses on the manifestations of deontic modality in legal discourse focusing on a body of judgments rendered by “the French Court of Cassation between 2018 and 2023”. By mobilizing the theoretical contributions of pragma-enunciation (Kerbrat-Orecchioni, 2021) and modal semantics (Gosselin, 2020), we will analyze the discursive strategies deployed by magistrates to express “obligation”, “permission” and " the ban ". Our approach, anchored in discourse analysis (Maingueneau, 2022), will
endeavor to detect the nuances between “explicit deontic modality” and “implicit”, while examining their interaction with the other modal dimensions of judicial discourse. In doing so, we aim to shed light on the linguistic mechanisms through which the construction of legal authority and normativity takes place in these highly codified texts (Cornu, 2019).

This article explores the use of Hyperbase to analyze the themes of the absurd represented in three major phases: self-satisfaction, guilt, and shame in Albert Camus The Fall. This article questions the contemporary extreme novel in its relation to the genres classified in the sphere of para-literature. It relies on two works done by Guillaume Musso and intends to demonstrate that this author allows a surpassing of traditional literature classifications. In his novels, Musso regroups previously opposite tendencies and proves that these can intersect, better complement each other to produce usable material for the morphological renewal of the novel. For this author, para-literature then becomes a source of mutation that can bring a touch of renewal to the French novel in its version known as the extreme contemporary. Thus, conceived in a discontinuous aesthetic, Musso's two novels offer a hybrid appearance to readers and become prototypes from which one can claim the disappearance of literary categorizations and even the death of so-called pure literature.

Sappho de Lesbos : Mythe poético-érotique chez Lamartine et Baudelaire

Historial character, having actually lived in Lesbos during Antiquity, the poet Sappho is a literary myth. The tragic journey of this transhistorical figure has fascinated several writers and painters. She is little known, even if her biographers agree that she was very prolific, in the same way as her contemporary Alcée. Only a few fragments remain of his fabulous production. Nicknamed by Plato "the tenth muse", Sappho inspired Baudelaire to write his pieces entitled "The Damned Women", and to Lamartine a long poem which relates her last moments before her suicidal jump from the Lefkada rock located in Greece. We remember that, among the poems which exposed the poet of Les Fleurs du mal to disgrace, there are eminently erotic texts which depict tribades prey to the burns of sapphism. In our two poets, Sappho embodies the fatal character of eroticism. With Baudelaire, the figure of Sappho benefits from a fragmentary, even laconic treatment, in the sense that the pieces over which her shadow hovers are devoid of an exhaustive narrative. As for the romantic poet, hee specially emphasizes the suffering of the lesbian muse rejected by the ferryman Phaon with whom she fell in love. The author of Poetic Meditations deploys lyrical strategies in the revival of this myth. Whereas, the poet of “Fantastic Engraving” makes Sappho a figure confusingly associating eroticism and spirituality. In this article, the aim is to study, in Baudelaire and Lamartine, the occurrences of the Sapphic myth which symbolizes the mastery of poetic composition and the inevitability of eros.

The conception of a diagnostic assessment, a notion recently introduced in pedagogy, promises to be, currently, the problematic area for several researchers in the field. This, particularly, is evident in observing the effectiveness of this assessment in targeting the shortcomings and limitations of learners, especially those in foreigns languages. It also plays a crucial role in planning of an entire curriculum in various subjects, particularly in a university context. This observation has led this article to primarily focus on the concept of diagnostic assessment, its objectives, effects, and its conception, through a survey among teachers- researchers from different universities. All of this in a dual purpose: to demonstrate the effectiveness of a rigorous structuring of this activity in the teaching/learning process, as well as the role of pedagogical remediation logic in achieving its objectives, thus reflecting on this assessment as ultimately a tool for progress and capacity development for language learners

Institutions, on their part, aim to stand out by offering innovative programs tailored to parental expectations. The goal of the study is therefore to thoroughly examine these parental perceptions to better understand the
motivations behind the choice of early foreign language education and to identify the criteria influencing these decisions.

The This article explores the scriptural manifestations of the symbolic relationship of Amazigh literature with “minor literature” through a novel by Amar Mezdad. It questions the way in which the figure of the minor is expressed in relation to the major, or the dominant, and the quest for self-affirmation in different dichotomies. The study tends to show that implicitly, through symbolic representations, involving language, the feminine condition and the symbolism of first names, we can read the condition of literature of Amazigh expression which refuses the qualifier "minor".

The Relationship of Extraversion and Neuroticism Traits to Academic Achievement

This study aims to highlight the relationship between the two traits (extroversion and neuroticism) and academic achievement among students about to take the baccalaureate exam. 246 final-level students, selected from two different secondary schools, contributed to the study data on the mentioned variables were collected using a scale - the Big Five Personality Factors Inventory (McRae and Costa, 1992), translation and adaptation (Al-Ansari Badr Mohamed, 1997), in addition to the results of the baccalaureate examination.The study concluded that extroversion is the strongest association with academic achievement compared to
neuroticism, and these results do not differ greatly from what previous studies have found. In addition, the current study was not able to prove the relationship between neuroticism and academic achievement, and this difference with previous studies can be explained by the fact that this study was conducted in a different social environment (the desert environment)

It focuses on the period from 1936 to 1955. To provide a systematic and in-depth analysis of his novel Cry in the Long Night, published in 1955, we use the descriptive analytical approach. The results revealed that literature continues to play a role in providing a means through which the social, political, and cultural realities of the war on Palestine can be seen and understood.

Expresiones idiomáticas en la era digital: un estudio comparativo de cinco herramientas de traducción automática

The objective of this study is to evaluate the accuracy and fidelity of automatic translation of idiomatic expressions from Spanish to Arabic. We selected 19 idiomatic expressions focusing on emotions and human reactions. We used a quantitative approach to assess five automatic translation programs and artificial intelligence tools: Google Translate, Bing Translator, DeepL, Gemini, and ChatGPT 3.5, comparing them with a human reference translation. The analysis was conducted using the TILDE platform. The results show that ChatGPT 3.5 and Gemini provided the most accurate translations, although all the engines faced challenges in interpreting some idiomatic expressions.

Resulting from his thesis, Youcef Bacha's work is part, more precisely, of a sociodidactic approach or even a contextualized didactics which will take charge not only of the context of the learner, namely their experiences and their representations, but also the first languages (languages of socialization) which, for a long time, were devalued and confined to orality. He will, moreover study the languages spoken in class by 3rd year secondary teachers (Tiaret and Tissemsilt) in order to update their representations in relation to the integration of reference language and the effects of the latter, on the teaching/learning of French as a foreign language. To do this, he adopts, among others, as an investigation tool: language biographies.

In this contribution, we present an interview with sociolinguist Louis-Jean Calvet, Professor at the Sorbonne (Université René Descartes) until 1999, then at the University of Provence (Aix-Marseille 1). Through this exchange, Mr. Calvet shared his professional, academic and scientific experiences, while shedding light on various fundamental notions, such as spoken languages, the status of languages, official languages and other related concepts. Furthermore, in this reflection, he highlighted a phenomenon relating to the dynamics of linguistic populations, which he characterizes by the achievement of what he considers to be a maximum biomass, to then enter a logistic growth phase, marked by structural changes in the evolution of linguistic groups.
