The study therefore adopted a dependent variable represented by the value of non-hydrocarbon exports LEXPOF, and an independent variable represented by the value added of the agricultural sector LAGR. The study used the descriptive analytical approach, and the ARDL model, using the standard program EViews 10. The study concluded that there was no relationship between the two variables in the short term, while in the long term, the value added parameter of the agricultural sector was positively associated with the value of non-hydrocarbon exports, as the value of the LAGR parameter reached 1.045271 with a probability value of 0.0000, i.e. less than a significance level of 1%, indicating that any change in the value added parameter of the agricultural sector (LAGR) by 1% in the long term will lead to a change in the value of non-hydrocarbon exports by 1.045271% in the same direction
Mansouri Abdelouahab , Samir Guediri Copyright (c) 2024 Review of Economic Diversification https://journals.univ-temouchent.edu.dz/index.php/deconomic/article/view/490 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Efficiency of financial markets in developing countries: case of Algeria https://journals.univ-temouchent.edu.dz/index.php/deconomic/article/view/493
Efficiency of financial markets in developing countries: case of Algeria
Meriem Touil , Sami Mohammed Bennouna Copyright (c) 2024 Review of Economic Diversification https://journals.univ-temouchent.edu.dz/index.php/deconomic/article/view/493 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Reality of Public Policies in Algeria for Developing and Improving the Agricultural Sector https://journals.univ-temouchent.edu.dz/index.php/deconomic/article/view/494
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of public policies in Algeria aimed at developing the agricultural
sector and improving its performance by analyzing the impact of these policies on economic development. Algeria began developing agriculture in Saharan areas through the National Agricultural Development Plan in 2000. As part of efforts to achieve food security, reduce import values, and achieve economic diversification, Algeria continued its efforts to develop the agricultural sector through the Agricultural and Rural Development Roadmap 2020-2024. In this context, Algeria redirected its agricultural policy towards investing in industrial agriculture in desert lands and established the National Office for the Development of Industrial Agriculture in Saharan Lands to implement the national policy for promoting and developing strategic industrial agriculture in Saharan regions through investments under concession contracts. The successful realization of these projects requires coordinated efforts among relevant authorities, investors, and farmers to address potential challenges and develop industrial agriculture with sustainable practices that help preserve water resources and prevent soil degradation. Many of these projects have been implemented, resulting in the production of various industrial crops such as grains, fodder, sugar beets, and oil plants.
Hadjira Larbi Cherif , Amina Badreddine Copyright (c) 2024 Review of Economic Diversification https://journals.univ-temouchent.edu.dz/index.php/deconomic/article/view/495 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 RReevviieeww of Economic Diversification L’huile d’olive comme défi économique pour réaliser la sécurité alimentaire et renforcer les exportations hors hydrocarbure Nassim HACHEMI Institut National de la Vulgarisation Agricole(INVA).
