Abstract

This article deals with the notion of the linguistic imaginary, taking as an example the case of the
French-expression Algerian writer Katia Hacène. It is a multidisciplinary approach whose goal is to describe
what is understood by the phenomenon of linguistic appropriation and imagination in the author. Further
still, this text questions what differentiates the representations of the imaginary an important distinction
to describe because it could explain one of the sources of the (socio) linguistic phenomena with regard to
the languages present in Algeria.
