Stratégies Prévertiennes De Poétisation Des Guerres : Du Choc Verbal à La Construction D’un Pacifisme Actif
Abstract
This article focuses on the stylistic strategies deployed by Prévert (1900-1977) to castigate the
two world wars amplified by a collective consciousness insensitive. To promote his pacifist and anti-
militarist ideals for a more humane world, the poet proceeds by a particular style to exorcise evil. From
the brutal description of the wars that abolished love and the common sense, Prévert comes to verbal
violence, with symbol such invective against all these personalities holding a parcel of accountability in the
Wars.
