Abstract

The literature was always the reflection of the social, economic, cultural and linguistic environment of a given society. The authors use then their papers to give their opinion onto certain subjects or simply tell a story. It is the case of José Luis González, puerto rican author. Of Marxist socio-ideological inspiration, its work integrates the repository dimension of the history with its function of revelation and explanation of the behavior of his characters. This study thus aims at the highlighted of the fact historic as reference point for the literary creation at this author.
