647/5000 In the book by Mebarek Slaouti Taklit, Ancestral Language and Writing of North Africa and the Sahara published in 2015 by Editions Universitaires Européennes, we find, from the first lines of its introduction, the problematic concerning Berber: "how Can the same language unite so many "peoples" or the same "people" over an immense space whereas apparently no civilization has developed there? ". To answer this question, she plunges her readers through the ten chapters, spread over 133 pages, in the ancestral origins of this language spoken throughout North Africa and the Sahara.
