Abstract

By going beyond the theft of words and focusing mainly on the theft of ideas, the questioning on plagiarism in literature changes dimension. When the stolen ideas are exploited intelligently, when, thus reworked, they lead to new and innovative developments, the risk is that the accusation of plagiarism dissipates.
