: The publication in 2002 of Ferdinand de Saussure's Writings of General Linguistics gave rise to a new trend
in general linguistics, commonly referred to as 'neosussurism'. Under this neologism, forged more than twenty years
ago by Simon Bouquet, are grouped together the works that claim autograph saussurian texts and student notebooks
to defeat, on the one hand, the true Saussurean thought of the Course of General Linguistics, published by Charles
Bally and Albert Sechehaye and work, on the other hand, to reconnect with the Saussurean project as it is outlined in
these writings, especially a unified linguistics of language and speech. The article to which this note is devoted is
one of them.
We will endeavor to explain the essential points of the article while situating it in the development of the theory
that the author has named: a neosaussurean linguistics of interpretation.
