Le Théâtre De Fatima Gallaire - Princesses Et Co-epouses
Keywords:
Theatre, enunciation, female writing, francophone literature, Algeria.Abstract
For this issue of the Revue Algérienne des Lettres with focus on female Algerian authors, our
purpose is to analyze two plays of Fatima Gallaire, Princesses and Les Co-épouses. We chose the perspective
of enunciative analysis to show how Gallaire emphasizes on female voices in her theatrical discourse. Our
analysis tries further to illustrate the ideological impact of those female voices which go beyond usual
cleavages between old and new generations, between tradition and modernity, between oppression and
liberty.
