Le Texte Poetique Dans Les Manuels Scolaires Au Liban : De L’histoire Et De La Culture
Abstract
This article focuses on teaching / learning poetic text in the first year of secondary school in French-
speaking public schools of Lebanon. The National Book was released after the last educational reform in 1997. It
is capable of adding conceptions from and for the society which elaborates or adopts it. Thus, the study of the
textbook’s structure and the various genres of literary texts intended for didactic exploitation, are necessary to
highlight the historical and cultural reflections. In addition, assisting to the didactic class which covers the poetic
genre provides a myriad of information concerning the activities, the followed approach and the attitude of the
learners towards a poem which elaborates the Lebanese heritage and the dismal history of the Lebanese war.
