Role De La Langue Maternelle Dans L’appropriation Du Français Langue Etrangere Chez Des Apprenants Algeriens Novices.
Keywords:

Our research attempts to illustrate the question of the impact of using the Arabic or the mother
language during French lessons at the level of fifth year primary class. Indeed, at the primary school level,
French is considered as a foreign language is a simple subject to be taught.
We have tried, through this exploratory research, to show the effectiveness of the use of the Arabic
language on teaching of French language. The experiment that we carried out offers the possibility of
considering this linguistic phenomenon in its concrete perspective and of showing, through the results
obtained, that the recourse to Arabic during the sessions of comprehension and written production of FLE,
has no positive impact on teaching/ learning FLE in primary school.
