This paper examines the use of the Maghreb stereotype in the discourse of the "Generation
Identity" group, as developed in two television debates broadcast on the French channel C8. The main
objective of this research is to demonstrate how this movement, by positioning itself as a defender of "pure"
identity and establishing itself as a "savior" and "protector" of the French, uses the image of the Maghrebi as a
"terrorist", "rapist", and "aggressor" as a means of propagandistic rhetoric that combines the strategies of
dramatization, rationalization, and testimony in its argumentative perspective.
