Ces oubliés de l'histoire, les poilus de l'ailleurs. Entre stéréotypes et autofiction dans D'amour et de guerre de Akli Tadjer
These forgotten stories, the hairy ones from elsewhere. Between stereotypes and autofiction in Love and war by Akli Tadjer
Keywords:
Algeria, Tirailleurs, forgotten , Stereotype, AutofictionAbstract
During the two world wars, France made a special appeal to its human reserve, from its former
colonies: skirmishers, spahis etc. Mobilized on all fronts to serve France. However, it is essential to look at
the fate of these "furry people from elsewhere, without stories", forced to participate in a war that was not
theirs, while exploring their identities and stories, oscillating between autofiction and stereotypes. Through
the novel "D'amour et de guerre" by Akli Tadjer, the author invites us to revisit how he managed to revive the
scars of history and memories, long forgotten.
