Literary conceptualization of television and photographic media in the French-language sub-Saharan novel of the 2000
Abstract
After presentation of the approach of literary intermediality according to Elisabeth Routhier. The
article reports on the intermedial practice in the French-language novel. This intermedial writing highlights the
process of integration of television media and photography within French-speaking African dystopias. Four texts
including Le ventre de l'Atlantique, La fabrique de cérémonies, Remember Charles and lumière de pointe noire
made this reading possible.
