Rection prépositionnelle au sein du noyau verbal et prédicativité énonciative. Une étude fondée sur La Croix du cœur de Charly-Gabriel Mbock
Prepositional rection within the verbal core andenunciative predicativity. A study based on La Croix du cœur by Charly-Gabriel Mbock
Keywords:
preposition, semanticity, periphrastic verb, rection, contextAbstract
Within the verbal core, the preposition appears at the heart of two constituents: the morphologicalpivot (semi-auxiliary) on the left and the infinitive (its direct regime) on the right, hence the rection. But there is no question here of returning to this eminently eloquent phenomenon on the morphosyntactic level. What we attach greatinterest to is the role of the latter in this matrix, which according to us is beyond the syntactic option. Thus, postulating the predicativity of a constituent like the preposition, especially the monophonematic ones (à, de and par), can seem problematic when we know all the science developed to proclaim a fairly parallel
point of view. This article proposes another reading of this discourse tool, the use of which not only makes it possible to capitalize on a meaning, but also to infer one from the constituents which surround it. Furthermore, the scrutinyof the corpus made it possible to identify its narratological function which is deduced from its particular use through the words of a character in the story.
