La place de la traduction intra-linguale dans la formation académique des traducteurs en Algérie
The place accorded to Intra-lingual Translation in the Academic Training of Translators in Algeria

From a didactic point of view, intra-lingual translation is a cornerstone reflecting a major component considered integral to the academic training of translators in translation schools and institutes around the world. In Algeria, this reality seems to be different, given the nature and composition of a curriculum that gives greater priority to interlingual translation. This reality presupposes the absence of a mindset and attention to this poor relation, which constitutes the main element of a solid academic training in linguistic (re)formulation in the source language. This contribution is based on a regrettable observation and aims to
draw the attention of course designers and pedagogues to the notional and practical imperfections in translation training and the absence of awareness among researchers of the importance of intra-lingual translation. The aim is to raise questions and suggest possible avenues of research that could extend the investigation and help shed light on the reality of the issue and its fate.
