Study of the discourse on the concepts of grammar in Tajerrumt n tmaziɣt tatrart of Mouloud Mammeri

Abstract

The subject of this contribution is the discourse on the concepts of grammar in Tajerrumt n tmaziɣt tatrart of Mouloud Mammeri, the first monolingual Amazigh grammar, in which the author attempted to define, in Tamazight, the concepts of grammar. This defining speech deserves to be examined to identify these characteristics and specificities. The interest of this study is to guide the practitioner towards improving their terminological practices in terms of definition. The literature on the practice of definition in
terminology served as a theoretical framework. Examination of the corpus showed us that the speech is accessible because the author was able to balance between everyday language and the use of neologisms. He succeeded in developing satisfactory, understandable and accessible terminological definitions, especially since the work contains a glossary of terms in the field of grammar.
