Abstract

Sexuality, which has long been stigmatized stigmatized in French-language Maghreb literature, has now become a subject of subject of innovative aesthetics, even in its carnivalesque guise. Boudjedra is no exception this writing of sexuality in its perverse dimension. This of sexual carnival can be read as a renewal of writing, but also as a but also as a cathartic expression of the darker side of the human being expression of the darker side of the human being, leading to a reconsideration of sexual practices in contemporary contemporary society
