Abstract

This article investigates the portrayal of domestic violence in contemporary Algerian women'snovels. Through the examination of a corpus comprisingthreenovels : Sonia ou le calvaire au féminin by Yasmina Gharbi Mechakra (2017), Nulle Autre voix by Maissa Bey (2018), and Orages by HdiaBensahli (2019), the proposedanalysisseeks to explore new configurations of thistheme by examining the poetic and expressive modalitiesemployed for itstextualization.
