Narcisse et Mani : De la Métamorphose au Double, vers la Transcendance Divine
Narcissus and Mani: From Metamorphosis to the Double, Towards Divine Transcendence
Keywords:
Myth, Mystic, interdisciplinarity, literature, polyphonyAbstract
This article explores how the myth of Narcissus transcends its original narrative to become a metaphor for spiritual quest and divine transcendence. It aims to explore how the fascination with one's reflection, from Ovid to Salvador Dalí, evolves into an inner journey towards spiritual realization, comparing it with the mystical concepts of Mani, such as the double self. It employs an interdisciplinary approach, integrating mythocriticism, intertextuality, and mystical symbolism to analyze the resonances and transformations of the myth across various artistic and literary works.
