This article explores the impact of ludopedagogy on the development of oral competence among first-year university students enrolled in a French as a Foreign Language department. Through an experimental approach combining role-playing, improvisation, and cooperative activities, we analyzed the evolution of their oral performance over an eight-week period. The results indicate a significant improvement in fluency, self-confidence, and discourse structuring. This study highlights the didactic potential of play in the teaching of oral skills in an academic context.
