Abstract

The originality of Albert Camus is undoubtedly to have fertilized and have nourished the ‎philosophy of the absurdity whose account of L’Étrangeris an application. This worthy concept to be ‎taught is a form of revolt against all that is foolish and that the society perpetuates in a machanical way ‎by stiff respect of suitabilities, the standards and the social codes whith no regard for the truth and the ‎human nature. Meursault, the character of the novel positions as the hero of the absurdity by his revolt ‎against the social system which takes hostage the individuals. It thus chooses to throw the mask and to ‎appear, without hypocrisy, in its true nature which is specific to all the men.‎
