Pierre Sang Papier Ou Cendre De Maissa Bey : Une Voix D’enfant, D’espace Et De Liberté
Keywords:
childhood, cosmic images, daydream-writing, , Maissa BeyAbstract
The present article treats the symbolic and imaginary dimensions in Bey's writing. We will try to explore a constellation of provocative images that parade in filigree in this historical novel and explain a poetic discourse that paves the way for a creative imagination. The focus will therefore be on the witness child as a" memory sentinel" and the real space relating the painful history of the white city during the colonial period. These constituent elements combine harmoniously and denounce the occupier's vices. In short, we draw on the imaginary from material and cosmic images to illuminate the mysterious aspect of Beyen writing.
