Approche Pragmatico-discursive Du Discours Sur L’économie Nationale Dans El Watan Et El Moudjahid : Quelles Configurations Discursives, Quels Enjeux Pragmatiques ?

Abstract

The economic question in Algeria has caused much ink to flow; experts, politicians, journalists and even ordinary citizens have made it a subject of debate, in particular when the world oil market was upset, from the start of the second half of 2014, by a continuous drop in price of the barrel. The Algerian economy, mainly based on hydrocarbon revenues, was consequently affected by this downward trend in oil prices, thus threatening the internal and external balances of the country. This reality has been reappropriated by the national press organs which have treated it differently. In the present work, we propose to project a pragmatic-oriented discourse analysis on editorials from two French-speaking national newspapers, in this case EL Watan and EL MOUDJAHID. In this article, we propose to project a pragmatic-discursive analysis on the national economy in two editorials by El WATAN and EL MOUDJAHID, from February 2015.
