This article presents a comparative analysis of French and Algerian literature by studying the
stereotypes and the way dominant themes are received in best-selling novels from both literatures. The study
aims to shed a light on the cultural and literary differences and similarities in how these themes are
portrayed and perceived in these two distinct literary traditions.
