Opening sequence, invitation and offer in agreement/misunderstanding telephone conversations

Abstract

Communication involves an exchange of words between two individuals, wich imposes mutual understanding. This joint engagement is relative and gradual, it can succed or fail in the presence of meaninglessness or misunderstandigs. This article aims to discuss on agreement/misunderstandings collected through telephone conversations made in search of a blood donor. The analysis of the opening sequences and the configuration plan of an invitation are based on reflection of Goffman and Conein. The misunderstanding is mostly linguistic, it arises from the expression of an invitation during some conversation
