Abstract

This study is both theoretical as well as practical, in the sense that it is based on the analysis of a
part of the French school textbook and the activities proposed in that. This 1st year college textbook, aims to
transmit the social and cultural values that a society has chosen, to install disciplinary knowledge in order to
develop communication skills both orally and in writing. This analysis, I concretized it as a teacher-researcher
at the university, but also from the various observations that I was able to make as a French teacher at the
college. This study is therefore an analysis of the articulation between learning activities that go from oral to
written through a hypothetical so-called "curricular" approach recommended in this program. This new
Practice implies the development of students' language skills. Thus, these observations relate mainly to the
activities proposed in the manual at each stage of the learning process for the realization of a project.
