This article aims to examine the limits of autosociobiography in One and the other followed by My peers by Maïssa Bey. The work tells the story of a childhood shattered by the death of the father as it relates the access to resilience thanks to the guidance of this same father. Both followed by My peers go beyond autosociobiography to the extent that there is a tendency to bring together the different social layers rather than separating them as the notion developed by the West requires.
