Abstract

This article examines translator training in light of new professional and ethical requirements. Based on a thematic analysis of twenty-three articles published on the ASJP, three major findings emerge: terminological competence remains central but requires constant updating, intercultural competence proves essential though often marginalized, and mastery of digital tools demands a critical and ethical approach. The results highlight the importance of hybridizing these three competences in order to prepare translators capable of combining expertise and technology in a context shaped by automation and the accelerated circulation of knowledge.
