: In this interview, Abdou Elimam, linguist, gives us his vision of linguistic issues from a point of
view of ((socio) linguistic, (socio) didactic, anthropological language sciences,
cognitive neurosciences, etc.). By distancing from any superficial ideological projection and any deviant
political vision, he considers that linguistic question can then become an object of heuristic investigation.
Indeed, the primary objective of linguistics is to succeed in clarifying verbal productions and the significance
they generate. Hence the dichotomous salience: SOUND / MEANING. The objective assigned to this interview
has been to explore some complex concepts in simple terms and to explain the neurosemantic and
neurobiological mechanisms, of Magharibi and Amazigh variants. This has given the opportunity to insist on
the discursive functioning, on the socio-cultural repercussions of these languages, without excluding the
variational dimension of linguistic systems and other languages learning, in a socio-didactic aim
