The theme of this issue ("Children's books: A space for philosophical and ideological reflection") is of
great interest both to literary scholars who have taken a close interest in the subject by tackling children's books from a variety of approaches and angles - and to educationalists and other semioticians, who have demonstrated through their ground-breaking contributions that didactisation and semiotisation are fertile, meaning-producing fields when it comes to using literature aimed at young people as a prolific breeding ground for research and a highly promising area for investigation
